Abstract
In patients with a history of recurrent infections, treatment with enoxacin (200 mg/12 h for 3 days) relieved symptoms of acute urinary infection significantly more rapidly than treatment with cefuroxime axetil (125 mg/12 h for 7 days). Other parameters, including clinical and bacteriological cure rates and patients' overall opinion of their treatment, did not differ significantly between the treatments.Entities:
