Abstract
Hand disorders are common emergency department problems. They may be associated with long-term disability and significant financial impact for the patient and society. In many areas of clinical medicine, highly technical diagnostic and therapeutic modalities have taken center stage. In contrast, an accurate history and carefully performed physical examination of the hand retains a central and pivotal role in hand evaluation and treatment.Entities:
