Abstract
A direct surgical approach to the MHV during left-sided hepatectomy is anatomically feasible. The procedure should be applied with appropriate safety measures. Prior verification of the precise anatomic relationship of the hepatic veins is necessary and the MHV should be isolated and secured by the described stepwise technique.Entities:
