Concomitant abuse of clonidine and heroin.

We have reported the case of a 36-year-old woman who abused heroin and clonidine concomitantly. To our knowledge, this practice has never been reported in the medical literature, although it may be relatively common in certain communities. It may place the heroin abuser's health at additional risk and complicate therapy for overdose and withdrawal.
