Abstract
Chromosomal analysis of a fibrolipoma of the shoulder of a 55-year-old man showed the following abnormal complement: 46,XY,t(12;16)(q13;q24). Comparison with two previously characterized fibrolipomas showed abnormalities reportedly observed in "classic lipoma." A unique or distinguishing anomaly for fibrolipoma was not detected. Therefore, fibrolipoma appears to be distinct histologically but not cytogenetically.Entities:
