Incarcerated gravid uterus mimicking placenta praevia.

Abstract

Persistent retroversion of a gravid uterus (incarceration) is an uncommon occurrence which may lead to increased foetal mortality and maternal morbidity. This report documents the ultrasound findings in a case presenting in the third trimester.
