Abstract
Public perception of food safety and the risks involved with eating are of major concern. Even good science does little to reduce these perceptions of risk. The public does not understand dose response and looks at risk from a different point of view than scientists. Surveys of consumer attitudes do not always accurately reflect what actions consumers prefer.Mesh:
