Abstract
Thoracic actinomycosis is rare in the pediatric age group. We report the unusual case of a 10-year-old girl who presented with prolonged fever and weight loss with a neck mass and multiple pulmonary nodules resembling lymphoma. Open lung biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of actinomycosis and the symptoms and signs improved after treatment with cephalosporin. The pathogenesis and radiographic manifestations are briefly discussed.Entities:
