Abstract
We present a case of soft tissue impingement in the posteromedial ankle, which has not been previously reported. When a patient presents with chronic posteromedial ankle pain and swelling, clinicians should be suspicious of soft tissue impingement in the posteromedial ankle. Pertinent history and physical examinations are most helpful in the diagnosis of this lesion. Arthroscopic debridement of the hypertrophic soft tissue is successful in returning the patient to his or her previous activities.Entities:
