Abstract
A 47 year-old previously hysterectomized para 0 gravida 0 presented with hematuria, abdominal pain and a palpable pelvic mass. Cystoscopy was normal. An ovarian tumor was suspected. At operation three leiomyomata originating from the bladder wall were found. This is a rare disease with only about 160 cases hitherto reported in the literature. The present case represents, as far as I know, the first case of multiple bladder leiomyoma reported in a woman. Bladder leiomyomata are a very rare differential diagnosis to ovarian tumors.Entities:
