Abstract
Subcalcaneal heel pain is a very common presenting complaint. Careful evaluation is necessary to guide treatment decisions. By far, most subcalcaneal heel pain resolves with appropriate conservative treatment over a period of weeks to months. Occasionally, when surgery is necessary, the goal of the procedure is adequate decompression in the area of the origin of the plantar fascia and medial calcaneal tubercle.Entities:
