Abstract
The authors report a rare case of squamous cell carcinoma arising in a thyroglossal duct cyst. The lesion is a malignancy arising directly from the lining epithelium of the thyroglossal duct remnant and as a rule has a poor prognosis with survival ranging from few months to few years.Entities:
