Piercing the veil of the future. A review of the Delphi method of research.

A Everett.

Abstract

1. The Delphi method aims to obtain the most reliable consensus of opinion of a group of experts. 2. This is done by a seven-step process using the method. 3. There are advantages and disadvantages to using this method; they arise from the respondents, the researcher and the responses given. 4. The final result obtained becomes a kind of historical action research picture of the time it was undertaken.
