Abstract
We present the clinical, histopathologic, and ultrastructural features of a primary vulvar Merkel cell carcinoma. This tumor appears to have a more aggressive behavior than those at other anatomic sites. A review of reported cases is presented. Preoperative evaluation and the role of surgery, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy in the management of these tumors are discussed.Entities:
