Abstract
Internal jugular vein thrombosis (IJVT) is an uncommon condition, which is often not correctly diagnosed clinically. Diagnosis is readily made by duplex scan, computerized tomography with contrast or magnetic resonance imaging. A case of IJVT following carotid endarterectomy with intra-operative retraction of the internal jugular vein is reported.Entities:
