Abstract
Evaluation of high-risk cases treated via a tri-agency, interdisciplinary, early-intervention program suggests that a better outcome was achieved in the treatment program than in a control group of similar high-risk families receiving standard care. The number of treated cases requiring child protection services decreased during treatment, and confirmed episodes of child abuse were fewer in the treated group than in the control group.Entities:
