Abstract
Studies of vacuolar protein sorting in yeast are revealing important new insights into the mechanisms of intracellular membrane trafficking. Recent work has raised questions about the prevailing view concerning membrane protein transport to the vacuole, and has indicated roles in vacuolar protein sorting for GTP-binding proteins, clathrin, a serine/threonine protein kinase and a phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase.Entities:
