Climatotherapy.

A Schuh1.

Abstract

For successful climatotherapeutic treatment the body has to be exposed daily over several weeks under an exact dosage regime, to the biometerological conditions. For doing this--to provide rest, or to apply stimuli--four different methods are described: climatic terrain treatment, fresh air rest-cures, air baths and heliotherapy. Climatotherapy is conducted in a marine climate, in upland and in alpine regions. These three zones differ in the intensity of their climatic stimuli. Today, climatotherapy has become more differentiated, and has been newly structured following objective parameters. It always refers to specific diseases.
