Abstract
We describe two patients with acute recurrent focal myositis affecting discrete muscle groups. Sepsis was initially suspected in both cases and excluded only after surgical intervention. Spontaneous remissions occurred and extensive investigations have not demonstrated a precipitating cause.Entities:
