Abstract
Biochemical reactions can be discussed in terms of chemical equations or biochemical equations. Both are right and both are needed. Therefore, it is important to be able to distinguish between them at a glance. Sometimes the relations between the apparent equilibrium constant 'K" for a biochemical reaction and the equilibrium constant, K, for a reference reaction written as a chemical equation is simple, and sometimes it is complicated.
