Abstract
We describe the case of a 76-year-old man hospitalized for 14 months because of a complicated hip fracture who developed pancreatitis and polyarthritis. He had no evidence of subcutaneous fat necrosis away from his joints and his pancreatitis was virtually asymptomatic otherwise. Polyarthritis is a rare complication of this disorder, and rarer still is polyarthritis without evidence of subcutaneous fat necrosis elsewhere.Entities:
