Abstract
Faced with a shortage of professional nurses, 37 hospitals in New Jersey implemented a variety of approaches to changing the delivery of nursing care. Implementation issues, including the positive and negative effects of the changes, are discussed. Most project coordinators reported that implementation was more difficult than they had anticipated.Mesh：
