Recruitment and retention of blood donors: a strategic linkage approach.

Abstract

Through the use of discriminant analysis, 521 blood donors were analyzed to develop profiles of both high and low donors. The practical value of strategically linking recruitment and retention activities aimed at those who fit a multiple-giving profile is presented.
