Abstract
Liposarcoma in the mesentery or small intestine is rare. Intestinal obstruction due to liposarcoma is particularly rare. We report here the case of a 33-year-old man with intestinal obstruction due to metastasis of a liposarcoma to the ileum. Although he died due to multiple metastases, it should be emphasized that he recovered from intestinal obstruction by resecting the tumor in the ileum. The pertinent literature is also briefly reviewed.Entities:
