Abstract
Intracavernous carotid aneurysms are uncommon. We report the natural history and radiological appearances of a giant, non-traumatic, intracavernous carotid aneurysm which extended through the skull base to the anterior nares and caused epistaxis. The magnetic resonance imaging appearances of such an aneurysm have not been previously described. The importance of correct diagnosis is discussed.Entities:
