Abstract
To investigate the possibility that the two subtypes of craniopharyngioma, adamantinous type and squamous papillary type, are tumors arising from different origins, the authors conducted an electron microscopic study in 10 cases of craniopharyngioma. Light microscopic study revealed distinct differences between the two subtypes, but their ultrastructure was fundamentally similar. In this report, the authors propose an explanation of the origin of these subtypes to account for the findings.Entities:
