[Pathological patella fracture in gout tophus].

Although gout is known to cause destruction of bone by the deposition of tophaceous material, the documented cases of pathologic fractures due to gout are rare. We report the case of a pathologic fracture of the patella. Union of the fracture was seen at 3 months after surgery.
