Abstract
A drinking device for rhesus monkeys is described which is simple, reliable, and permits intermittent scheduling of liquid availability. The device may be of particular use in oral drug self-administration experiments since the amount of fluid dispensed may be calibrated and spillage is minimals. The system has been successfully used for over 3 years with 9 unrestrained rhesus monkeys.Entities:
