Abstract
The role of arthroscopic debridement for the treatment of degenerative arthritis of the knee is controversial. Success rates are dependent on multiple factors including the age of the patient, degree of arthritis, activity level, and length of follow-up. This article elaborates on and defines the indications and results of arthroscopic treatment of osteoarthritis of the knee and the role of abrasion arthroplasty.Entities:
