Abstract
Incisional and excisional biopsies of oral mucosal lesions are procedures the dental practitioner should employ for total patient care. Indications and contraindications for obtaining biopsy specimens are outlined in this article. Also, basic and adjunctive surgical techniques are described with an emphasis on a continuum of care until resolution.Entities:
