Abstract
A 10-day-old infant with stridor was found to have herpes simplex virus type 2 infection of the larynx. The infant's poor clinical response to both acyclovir and foscarnet prompted extensive clinical and virologic evaluations, which revealed acyclovir-resistant herpes simplex virus.Entities:
