Abstract
Stapling instrumentation designed primarily for specific gastrointestinal procedures and transection of vascular pedicles have been adapted for use in parenchymal organs of the abdomen and urogenital tract. This article reviews current veterinary clinical and experimental use of stapling instrumentation for splenic, pancreatic, hepatic, and urogenital surgery.Entities:
