Abstract
Mallotojaponin, a major constituent of the pericarps of Mallotus japonicus (Euphorbiaceae), inhibited the action of tumor promoter in vitro and in vivo; it inhibited tumor promoter-enhanced phospholipid metabolism in cultured cells, and also suppressed the promoting effect of 12-O-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate on skin tumor formation in mice initiated with 7,12-dimethylbenz-[a]anthracene.Entities:
