Regulation and function of the Rho subfamily of small GTPases.

C Nobes1, A Hall.

Abstract

During the past year, the small GTP-binding proteins Rho and Rac have each been shown to regulate a signal transduction pathway linking growth factor receptors to distinct changes in the actin cytoskeleton. A number of regulatory molecules for Rho-like proteins have been identified and some of these may cross-talk with the Ras signalling pathway.
