Abstract
Congenital heart disease is often associated with a clinical picture of failure to thrive from unique nutritional issues. Poor weight gain, less than expected linear growth, and variances in normal development are commonly seen both in infancy and throughout childhood when defects are unrepaired. Major factors associated with disturbances in growth and development as well as a review of current therapeutic interventions are explored in this article.Entities:
