Abstract
Root development in Arabidopsis thaliana is amenable to molecular genetic analyses because of its simplicity and accessibility. Genetic screens have identified a rich collection of mutants that can be used to address a variety of fundamental questions in plant developmental biology. These mutants have defects in genes that govern organ formation, meristem activity, cell differentiation and response to environmental conditions.Entities:
