Abstract
In response to recent concern and research findings about dental amalgam, the U.S. Public Health Service conducted a comprehensive scientific review of its benefits and risks. This review would serve as a basis for re-examining federal policy on the use of dental amalgam as a restorative material. This article summarizes the principal findings, conclusions and recommendations from that review.Mesh:
