Abstract
A technique for replacement of a feeding jejunostomy tube using endoscopic direct visualization is described herein. It can be used in patients who have had a previously placed open jejunostomy tube removed after recovery from resection of the gastrointestinal tract. This is accomplished quite easily using local anesthesia with intravenous sedation using an upper endoscope, guide wire, peel-away sheath and a standard Silastic catheter.Entities:
