[Loudness scaling in cochlear implant patients within the scope of preoperative evaluation].

J Müller1, F Schön.

Abstract

The electrical stimulation of the acoustic nerve is essential for evaluating patients for cochlear implants. Different tests are used to assess the performance of the cochlear nerve in a deaf ear. The use of category scaling of loudness leads to a more efficient test routine.
