Abstract
Electrical stimulation of the suprasylvian cortex (area 5b) evokes reaching the contralateral forepaw forward in naive cats. Neurons tonically activated by motivationally significant visual and tactile stimuli which presupposed or actually evoked reaching forward the forepaw or placing the contact were recorded in the focus of effective stimulation.Entities:
