Cyanoacrylate-assisted foreign body removal from the ear and nose in children.

R M Hanson1, M Stephens.

Abstract

Two cases of foreign body removal using cyanoacrylate (Histoacryl blue, B. Braun Australia Pty. Ltd., Sydney, NSW) or tissue glue are described. Both cases involved children with beads, one in the external auditory meatus and the other in the nostril. The benefits of this technique are discussed.
