Abstract
A complete technique is described for the isolation of myocytes from mammalian hearts using the Langendorff perfusion technique. The use of calcium-free solution containing collagenase and protease, followed by low calcium solution, consistently results in a large number of calcium tolerant myocytes which are well suited for long periods of electrophysiological recording.Entities:
