Needle aspiration of acute subdural hematomas in infancy.

Abstract

This report documents the ability of acute subdural hemorrhage to be easily and completely aspirated percutaneously through the open sutures of infants, obviating the need for open drainage. The technique has recently been used in 4 cases.
