Abstract
The visualisation of the small bowel by double contrast can be easily obtained by introduction of a suspension of barium sulphate, air insufflation, and parenteral administration of metoclopramide. Satisfactory demonstration of the entire small bowel by air and barium was obtained in 38 out of 40 unselected adult patients. There were no complications and no significant adverse reactions.Entities:
