Orthodontic/prosthetic treatment of enamel erosion resulting from bulimia: a case report.

Abstract

Orthodontic treatment was necessary before maxillary incisors, eroded as a result of a long-term eating disorder, could be restored. A removable maxillary bite plane appliance was developed to open the bite, while cosmetically covering the facial surfaces of the incisors.
