Herniation of colon through the right diaphragm complicating the puerperium.

Abstract

A case of rupture of the diaphragm, occurring in the puerperium, is described. The right colon was in the right chest and causing pulmonary embarrassment. A successful laparoscopic repair is described. Previous reports have suggested a poor outcome for such cases.
