Abstract
The B cells of the immune system, which secrete antibodies against foreign antigens, are fully specific and effective only after maturation in lymph nodes and other lymphoid tissues. Immunocompetent T cells play a crucial part in this process, but the molecular details of the way in which the two cell types interact have only recently become apparent.Mesh:
