Abstract
During the past year significant advances have been made in our understanding of the factors contributing to the differentiation of CD4 T helper cell subsets. These have been driven, in part, by the realization that signals (cytokines) from the innate immune response are critical in T cell subset differentiation. In addition, several studies have also elucidated how the antigen-presenting cell, the antigenic epitope and the antigen concentration may contribute to the selective development of a particular T helper cell subset.Entities:
