Eosinophilic fasciitis with late onset arthritis responsive to sulfasalazine.

We describe a patient with eosinophilic fasciitis in whom there was a late onset of inflammatory polyarthritis. Response of the arthritis to sulfasalazine was demonstrated, both initially and after a flare of synovitis which followed dose reduction. Sulfasalazine may be of benefit in this rare condition.
