Abstract
The Drosophila egg chamber is emerging as a uniquely versatile system for studying cytoskeletal rearrangements during development. Initial determination of the oocyte fate and subsequent growth of the oocyte depend on a series of highly coordinated changes in cell architecture. Homologs or relatives of many known cytoskeletal proteins play key roles in these events.Entities:
